YumukogluMy recent stay at Yumukoglu raised significant concerns regarding its value proposition. Despite its prime location in a charming part of town, the hotel's overall state did not reflect the luxury advertised. The building, while structurally sound, suffers from neglect in maintenance and cleanliness-rooms were not only old but also emanated an unpleasant odor. A noticeable lack of basic housekeeping left the toilet uncleaned, diminishing any sense of comfort. Service was largely subpar; however, one staff member did exhibit friendliness and offered assistance throughout my stay. Unfortunately, this isolated positive experience was overshadowed by the prevailing atmosphere of dissatisfaction among guests. Essential amenities like air conditioning, laundry, and Wi-Fi fell short in functionality, contributing to an overall feeling of disarray. At 40 Euros a night, Yumukoglu's pricing lacks justification given the conditions, prompting me to suggest prospective travelers consider alternative lodging. As a passionate advocate for marine conservation and a traveler with high expectations-coming from Mumbai's vibrant coastal scene-my accolade for value and quality speaks strongly against a hotel that may require significant investment to merit a return visit.
